Ages and Stages
We are adults for the majority of the years of our lives. But we recognize like with everything else, there are rhythms and shifts to living that take place. And many of them have nothing to do with how old we are. Here are a few thoughts about some of those different times in our lives. And through it all--God is with us.
Life is the Great AdventureAs we go through this adventure, life provides us with many joys and blessings
as well as trials and tribulations. Sometimes our lives go relatively smoothly, but, at other times, we run into "bumps, potholes and roadblocks." |
Using Discernment when facing Life's ChangesTry as we might to get everything settled in
our lives and snapped into place like Legos, there is no avoiding change. Health concerns surface that affect both ourselves and our loved ones, a long-held job becomes repetitive and gradually loses its appeal, forgotten interests resurface in ways that are hard to ignore. Whatever the reason, we all enter into periods of major transition that are best navigated with discernment tools created for listening to God. |
